About
Hello! I'm Alex, a writer, journalist & editor.
I specialise in:
✧ Health & wellbeing journalism ✧
✧ Real life news & features ✧
✧ Writing & editing for brands ✧
A love of words and language has been front and centre throughout my life – from completing my Comparative Literature BA to getting my NCTJ Multimedia Journalism Diploma and making writing my livelihood.
My other passion is people. Chatting with people and hearing their stories is a joy and a privilege. I’m fortunate to have interviewed some brilliant individuals for media and brands including Our Future Health, The Telegraph, South London Press, Waitrose Health Magazine, and American Express.
Got a story to tell? Let’s chat.

"Alex approaches journalism - and health journalism in particular - with sensitivity, curiosity and precision. She is a natural interviewer, a determined researcher and her writing is always compelling, whatever the topic. Alex has a good eye - for sharp writing and visual storytelling too. She knows that in this digital age, a good story is a visual one, and what it takes to execute a story with assets that will reach the right people."
Alice Wilkinson, Author & Deputy Head of Health Features at The Telegraph

"Alex is always exciting to work with. She's got the true journalist's instinct for a great story, and a real strategic sense of how to wrap it for most impact. Her work always fizzes with good energy, curiosity and creative joy, whether onscreen or in person – and that shows in the results it gets across the board."
Matt Potter, Journalist & Author

"I have worked with Alex on several projects and cannot recommend her highly enough. Her expertise, values, communication and manner shine through her work and it is truly a delight to work with her."
Dr Radha Modgil, NHS GP, Broadcaster & Author
"Efficient, intelligent and quick to take new information and challenges on board; Alex was brilliant to work with. She consistently proved herself extremely capable and able to adapt to new situations, and was very much liked by everyone who worked with her."
Jessica Gunn, Editor of Waitrose & Partners Food Magazine
