About
Hello! I’m Alex, a London-based writer and journalist. I write news and features on a range of topics, with a special interest in health and wellbeing, women, literature, and Gypsy, Roma and Traveller discourses.
My love of the written word has been front and centre throughout my life, from completing my Comparative Literature degree to gaining my NCTJ Multimedia Journalism Diploma and scoring my first professional writing job.
My other passion is people. Chatting and listening to people's stories is a joy and a privilege. I’m fortunate to have interviewed some brilliant humans for media and brands such as Our Future Health, South London Press, Waitrose Health Magazine, American Express, and more.
Got a story to tell? Let’s chat.
Testimonials
"Alex approaches journalism - and health journalism in particular - with sensitivity, curiosity and precision. She is a natural interviewer, a determined researcher and her writing is always compelling, whatever the topic. Alex has a good eye - for sharp writing and visual storytelling too. She knows that in this digital age, a good story is a visual one, and what it takes to execute a story with assets that will reach the right people."
